Detectives film program and it is already time for film number two! This Saturday,April 10th, I will be talking about and showing the "noir that doesn't look like noir" detective film, L.A. Confidential. I say noir that doesn't look it because that was Curtis Hanson"s (the director) intent. The entire film has a very noir feel to it but it was shot with very contemporary lighting and staging. Come see for yourself! We will be in the Central Library theater at 2pm and since this one is R rated, adult's only please.
